an apartment of three
mumbai, india.
100 sq. m.
tucked beside the thick greens of a national park, this redevelopment project transforms a single-family bungalow into a three-storey apartment building—while retaining quiet echoes of the old family home.
driven by the aging structure and shifts in family dynamics, the design reimagines the spatial arrangement to offer privacy for each pair of inhabitants, while preserving a sense of openness and flow that once defined the original house.
the project comprises three identical apartments—stacked yet interconnected in spirit—each offering flexibility in use while allowing the family to live together, apart.
