Hand holding a round, white object in darkness

just like the objects we make, the ambiguity in the name fancies one’s curiosity.

ltbl. believes in the craft of making and remaking, in order to achieve objects of the quality we desire.

we make lights and panels.

in 2019 when working as part of studio eight twenty-three, there was an opportunity for bespoke detailing in a project collaboration with the drawing studio. with a scope of few furniture joinery details and feature lights, all in brass, began my journey into detailing small parts.

a year (and a pandemic) later, continuing my interest in tactile design, the brand ltbl. was formed. the name has no significance apart from its intrigue.

initially working out of my own apartment and various workshops scattered around the city, it all came together once mumbai workshop had a space of its own. still maintaining the same ethos, being attentive to every small detail.

we aim to drift from objects of pure function towards creating a solution that sparks curiosity and joy with the user.

currently, we design and make bespoke architectural lights, electrical panels, furniture, and hardware.

each piece is meticulously designed and handcrafted with attention to detail and finish.
