This structure was built by the second semester students at the School of Environment Architecture as a part of the Material Systems module. The structure is deviced to hold the weight of the table and hold the wooden structure by pin joints under tension of the steel cables.

Each of these cables hold every part of the system through the weight of the frame and table. A floating table is able to accomodate seating for small gatherings, share food and discussions.

This system explored the materials of timber members, steel cables and other fittings, and foundations of concrete with steel plates connecting the structure to the ground.
